Roles
The platform is designed around the real people who touch a corporate trip — not a generic "user" role.
Traveler
Requests trips, uploads required documents, and tracks compliance status through the trip lifecycle.
Travel Arranger
Books and manages travel on behalf of one or more travelers.
Approver
Reviews and approves trip requests and post-approval changes according to configured routing rules, with support for delegation.
Travel Administrator
Configures travel and spend policy, organizational structure, and approval routing.
Finance / Controller
Owns budget allocation, reimbursement processing, and accounting / general ledger export.
Compliance Officer
Verifies travel documents against policy requirements and monitors continuous re-validation outcomes.
Auditor
Reviews decision history and explainability records for any governed decision in the system.
Executive / Analytics Consumer
A future role focused on cross-organization reporting and analytics; self-service reporting is on the roadmap and not yet implemented.
System Administrator
Manages users, security groups, and company isolation across the platform's multi-company data model.
